Our DURAWOOD® is made from HDPE recycled consumer plastic like old milk jugs that's been sterilized to eliminate impurities. It also never needs paint, stain, or any other kind of sealant, yet holds up to vigorous rains, extreme temperatures, and high winds, making it the perfect outdoor furniture material.
The hardware consists of marine-grade, 316 stainless steel to provide ultimate durability. Not all stainless steel is created equal. We have even primed and painted the heads of the hardware to match the color of the poly lumber.
Screws and bolt heads are gracefully obscured from the front view of the furniture. All joints and attachment points are painstakingly engineered to remove all visible hardware from the front view of the chairs, benches, and table.
